All About Me

Hello Everyone! My name is Maranda and I am the owner and sole provider at Little Munchkins Home Daycare & Preschool. I am originally from Massachusetts and moved to beautiful sunny Arizona in 2013.

I love the beach, camping, fitness, hiking, country music & pretty much anything that involves being outside and soaking in the sun :)

I have two beautiful children, Jaelyn (10) & Hunter (4). I love being able to work from home and be home with them more!  I also have an amazing husband, Mike, who tolerates a house full of toys so I can have a career Im passionate about! Also down below you will find a picture of Tucker, our friendly cat who mostly runs away from the kids during the day but still puts smiles on all their faces!

Ive always loved working with children. I was a part time nanny for a year when I lived back in Massachusetts while also working in sales on the off days. When I moved to Arizona in 2013 I scored a management position at a large Preschool Center where I grew my career for three years. I learned so much about Early Education, Curriculum based programs & child care management. I also gained my Certificate in Early Childhood Management during my time there.

I took a brief break in the child care field in order to earn a little more so we could purchase our first home, during that time I worked in the mortgage industry. (I know, not fun, but it got me to where I needed to be! )

Only 1 month after purchasing our first home, I excitedly realized it was time for me to finally set out for my dream job. After only 1 week of advertising, I was blessed to have a fully enrolled Home Daycare & Preschool. Going on 4 years now, I have been so lucky to constantly have a full roster and the most amazing families.

Since opening I have put so much love and effort into my program to make it what it is today. I have built an amazing curriculum that I am constantly adding new items to with the intent to keep children engaged, learning, and having fun! I have taken everything I have learned over the years and incorporated all of it, with my own twist, into a program that I am so proud of. I am excited to share it with you!
